Keyboard first
Every menu, control, and form can be operated without a mouse, focus stays visible as you move, and a skip link at the top of each page jumps straight past the navigation to the content.
Accessibility
Earnings Whispers exists to put institutional-quality earnings research in front of individual investors. That only counts if the research is actually reachable — with a screen reader, with a keyboard, at 200% zoom, or by voice. This page says what we are building toward, where we currently fall short, and how to get help.
You do not need to diagnose it. Send us the page and roughly what happened, and we will reply within two business days — with a fix, a timeline, or the information you were after in a format you can use.
If you can include the page address, your browser, and the assistive technology you were using, it saves us a round trip — but write in without any of that rather than not writing in.
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C, and the benchmark most regulators and courts reference.
Our current status is partially conformant: most of the site meets the standard, and the parts that don’t are listed below rather than left for you to discover. We are rebuilding Earnings Whispers page by page, and each rebuilt page is held to that bar before it ships.
We would rather publish an honest partial claim than an unaudited perfect one. If you find something that contradicts what’s on this page, that’s worth telling us about too.
Every menu, control, and form can be operated without a mouse, focus stays visible as you move, and a skip link at the top of each page jumps straight past the navigation to the content.
Pages use real headings, lists, and landmarks rather than styled divs, so you can navigate by structure. Figures that update in place announce themselves instead of changing silently.
Text reflows to 200% zoom and down to a 320-pixel-wide viewport without horizontal scrolling or clipped content, and the site respects the text size set in your browser.
Both themes are built to meet contrast minimums, and they follow your system preference unless you override it. Nothing is communicated by color alone — a red number is also labeled.
Animated counters, chart transitions, and other movement are suppressed when your device asks for reduced motion. Nothing on the site auto-advances or auto-plays.
Where we can, a chart is paired with the underlying figures in a table or a summary in the surrounding text, so the visual is a shortcut rather than the only route.
This is the honest list. If you hit one of these, the workaround is in the same paragraph — and asking us directly always works.
This is worth saying plainly, because people rarely think to ask: if any part of the site is unusable for you, we will get you the information directly. Whisper numbers, sentiment, guidance, grades, historical results — as a spreadsheet, as plain text in an email, or read to you over the phone. There is no charge for this beyond whatever subscription the data already requires, and you do not need to explain why you are asking.
Accessibility is not a project with an end date. Standards move, our site changes, and assistive technology keeps getting better at things it could not do before. Most of this work happens quietly in the background, which is exactly why hearing from the people using the site matters — you find the problems our testing doesn’t.
