How can we help?

Most questions are answered below, and the common ones — cancelling, resetting a password, changing what you receive — you can handle yourself in seconds. If none of it fits, the form further down reaches us directly.

How do I cancel my subscription or free trial?

In your subscription settings , in no more steps than it took to subscribe. No call, no explaining yourself.

Cancelling a trial before it ends means you’re never charged. Cancelling a paid subscription stops the next renewal and you keep access to the end of the term you’ve paid for.

I can’t sign in, or I’ve forgotten my password

Use forgotten password and we’ll email you a reset link.

We can’t tell you your existing password — it’s stored hashed and we genuinely can’t read it. And we will never ask you for it, by email or phone. Anyone who does isn’t us.

Can I get a refund?

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, which is why the Trader service has a free trial — so you can find out whether it suits you before paying.

But if you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, renewed unintentionally without using the new term, or couldn’t access what you paid for, write to us and we’ll put it right. In the EU or UK, section 7 of the Terms sets out your withdrawal rights.

What’s the difference between Trader and Investor?

Broadly: Investor covers the research and the longer-horizon indicators; Trader adds the short-term tools around the report itself. The Trader and Investor pages list what each includes.

Trader has a free trial. Investor doesn’t.

How do I change which emails I get?

In your email preferences , or via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing message.

Unsubscribing from marketing doesn’t cancel your subscription, and it won’t stop service messages like renewal notices and password resets.

Using the site
A page or chart isn’t loading

Try a refresh first, then a different browser. If it persists, choose Technical Support below and include the page address, your browser, and roughly when it happened — that’s usually enough for us to find it in the logs.

A date or figure looks wrong

Please tell us — choose Corrections in the form below and include the ticker. Earnings dates change constantly and companies don’t always announce cleanly, so we’d rather hear about it twice than not at all.

I’m having trouble using the site with assistive technology

Tell us and we’ll reply within two business days — choose Accessibility in the form. If any part of the site is unusable for you, we’ll send the data directly in a format you can use, at no extra charge.

Our accessibility statement lists what works today and where we currently fall short.

Our data & indicators
What is the Earnings Whisper® number?

Our estimate of what the market actually expects a company to report, which is often different from the published analyst consensus. Stocks move on the gap between results and expectations, so the expectation is the number that matters.

How the number is built

What is the Earnings Whisper® Score?

It identifies statistically favorable long or short setups before a company reports, combining expectations, sentiment, and the stock’s own history.

Scoring expectations to capture the announcement premium

What is the Power Rating™?

It measures the initial drift from the post-announcement open through the fifth trading session — the first week of reaction, not the gap itself.

Measuring the initial post-earnings drift

What is the Earnings Whisper® Grade?

It evaluates the quality of a report and whether it can carry the stock through to the next one — the rest of the quarter rather than the first week.

The surprise that actually matters ยท See current A+ grades

What is post-earnings announcement drift?

The tendency of a stock to keep moving in the direction of its earnings surprise for weeks afterward. It’s one of the most durable effects in the academic literature, and most of what we build sits on top of it.

The anomaly that outlived its benchmark

What is the Earnings Expectation Life Cycle?

The framework for why identical results produce opposite reactions: what a company reports matters less than how it lands against what investors were already positioned for.

The four setups, worked through with real companies

Which indicator should I use, and when?

They cover different stretches of the same quarter and aren’t interchangeable: the Score before the report, the Power Rating for the following week, the Grade for the rest of the quarter.

How stocks move between reports

Why do estimate revisions matter?

Analysts revise in herds and revisions tend to persist, so the direction estimates are moving often says more than their current level. It’s one of the inputs behind the Earnings Whisper® Score.

Where can I read the full research?

The library collects all of it — how each indicator is built, the academic work behind it, and worked examples.

Sharing, licensing & press
Can I repost the Most Anticipated Earnings Releases™ calendar?

Yes, on social media, unmodified, with our watermark intact and visible credit to Earnings Whispers with a link. Don’t crop the attribution, add your own branding, or present it as your own work.

Anything beyond that — recreating it, using it in advertising, or publishing the ranking as your own — needs permission. See section 11 of the Terms .

Do you license data for commercial use?

Yes. Scraping the site isn’t permitted and we do block it, but there’s a proper way to get the data — choose Data Licensing in the form and tell us what you need it for.

I’m a journalist and want to quote your data

Please do, with clear attribution to Earnings Whispers and a link where practical. For interviews or anything beyond a quoted figure, choose Press / Media Requests below.

What we hold and how requests work

Send us a message

This reaches us directly and we answer every one.

This routes your message and sets how quickly we need to reply, so it’s worth getting roughly right.

If it’s a problem with the site, the page address and what you were doing saves us a round trip.

This is where our reply goes.

Only if you’d rather we called.

We use this only to answer you — see our privacy policy.

Other ways to reach us

Please don’t send account numbers, passwords, or card details by email or social media. We will never ask for them, and anyone who does isn’t us.

If you’d rather talk

You can reach us at 866-EPS-GUID (866-377-4843) during US market hours. We’re a small team, so the form above is usually faster — it reaches us the moment you send it, and we can look things up properly before replying.

If a phone call is the only way you can reach us, please do call. That matters more to us than which channel is cheapest.
