The following individuals were each elected as Class A directors to serve three-year terms expiring in 2029:
Scott L. Carlton , President ofTokai Carbon GE LLC Brenda K. Clancy , former Global Chief Technology Officer for AEGON N.V.Kevin J. Leidwinger , President and Chief Executive Officer ofUnited Fire Group, Inc. Gilda L. Spencer , Adjunct Professor forLoyola University Chicago School of Law Susan E. Voss , former Vice President and General Counsel and Vice President of Government Relations ofAmerican Enterprise Group, Inc.
In other official business, shareholders:
- Ratified the appointment of
Ernst & Young LLP as the company’s independent registered public accounting firm for 2026. - Approved, on an advisory basis, the compensation of the company's named executive officers.
- Approved the amendment of the 2021 Non-Employee Director Stock Plan to increase the number of shares of
United Fire Group, Inc. common stock available for issuance thereunder to non-employee directors and to extend the life of the 2021 Non-Employee Director Stock Plan fromDecember 31, 2029 toDecember 31, 2034 .
